Laura Shulman Cordeira

Laura has dedicated her career to supporting people at difficult times in their lives.  While serving as the Director of Volunteer Services at a local hospice agency, Laura met Dan & Lindie Bacon, who regaled her with stories of Charlotte and introduced her to the foundation.

Laura received a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University at Albany.  She enjoys reading, watching romantic comedies, and spending time with her family and friends.  Laura will hike almost any trail if she’s promised ice cream afterwards!

She is honored to be a Board Member for the Charlotte Helen Bacon Foundation and support the mission of keeping Charlotte’s memory alive by funding programs, scholarships and research initiatives that honor Charlotte’s life and the Bacon family’s experiences.
