- Hailey’s Harvest was founded in 2011 by Hailey Fort when she was only 6 years old. In the beginning, her goal was to provide fresh produce to the homeless in the community. Through the years, Hailey’s goals have grown and so has Hailey’s Harvest. In 2015, Hailey’s Harvest donated over 120 pounds of produce, thousands of hygiene products, 35 sleeping bags, and 109 coats. One of the biggest additions to Hailey’s Harvest’s mission was the completion of its first mobile sleeping shelter in 2015. Hailey completed a majority of the work, leaving only the power saws to an adult.
